Archeo Diving is located on the northern edge of Capo Carbonara Marine Reserve, in the fantastic region of Castiadas. To the right, after the Cala Sinzias headland sits the Isola di Serpentara, to the left Costa Rei and Capo Ferrato. The waters around here are crystal clear and rich in marine life. The region is wonderful, with long white beaches for relaxing or the wild mountains of Sette Fratelli for hiking and after you’ve built up an appetite, you must try the delicious local cooking!

Marine park

The first navigators who sailed into these waters were confronted by beautiful colours and spectacular granite rock formations. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve dreamt of being one of them, a privileged spectator of the wonders of nature. The aim of the natural reserve is to protect and safeguard those areas which incredibly have remained as they were originally, giving you the chance to feel just like one of the first navigators. THE PROHIBITED ARCHEOLOGICAL AREA, ESTABLISHED IN 1999 RUNS FROM CAPO BOI EAST OF CAPO CARBONARA TO CALA PIRA ON THE EASTERN COAST. IT COVERS ABOUT 100KM2 AND IS DIVIDED INTO 3 ZONES:
 

• ZONE A (COMPLETE RISERVE);
• ZONE B (GENERAL RESERVE);
• ZONE C ( PARTIAL RISERVE)
